how does it work in formulation by Amino 80 amino acid powder?

Methods for Adding High Content Free Amino Acid Powder in Fertilizer Production

Free amino acid powder (total amino acid content ≥80%) can be used as an efficient fertilizer ingredient, and its addition should be integrated with the production process and crop needs. The specific methods are as follows:

1. Raw Material Selection and Pretreatment

Characteristics of raw materials

Preferential use of free amino acid powder with total amino acid content ≥80% (such as fermented fish meal or hydrolyzed soybean meal), ensuring it is free of impurities and easily soluble in water.

Pretreatment: If it is a solid powder, it should be sieved through a 60 mesh screen to improve mixing uniformity; if it contains salts (such as monosodium glutamate waste liquid extract), it needs to undergo desalination treatment to avoid soil compaction.

Addition Process

2. Production of Liquid Fertilizer:Dissolve the amino acid powder in clean water at a ratio of 1:10, stir, then add a concentrate (such as calcium magnesium sugar alcohol, humic acid, etc.), and homogenize until there is no sediment.Suggested addition amount: Amino acid powder should account for 5% to 10% of the total liquid fertilizer, and pH should be adjusted to 6.0 to 7.0 to stabilize metal ions.

3. Production of Solid Fertilizer:Mix the amino acid powder with nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium base fertilizers (such as urea, monoammonium phosphate) at a ratio of 1:5 to 1:10, and process through a granulator to make granules. Addition amount: It is recommended to add 20 to 50 kg of amino acid powder per ton of fertilizer, with moisture content controlled to ≤5% to prevent caking.

4. Functional Compounding

Synergistic combination: Compounding with trace elements (such as zinc, iron, etc.) or biostimulants (such as brassinosteroids) can enhance crop resistance.

5. Fermentation process: If activation is needed, the amino acid powder can be fermented with EM bacteria and brown sugar for 7 to 10 days to produce a compound liquid fertilizer rich in lactic acid and vitamins.

Quality Control

Testing indicators: The finished product must meet the requirements of free amino acid content ≥5% (liquid fertilizer) or ≥1% (solid fertilizer), and hydrolysis rate ≥80%.  Equipment requirements: Core equipment such as acid-resistant reaction tanks (for acid hydrolysis process), spray drying towers (for solid fertilizers) must comply with chemical safety standards.
