EDDHA Fe Fertilizer

EDDHA Fe Fertilizer

Chelated iron is a type of high-efficiency, high-quality, and super active iron chelate used as a trace element fertilizer in agriculture. This product has very high bioavailability and is currently the world's most effective treatment for plant iron deficiency and yellow leaf disease. In fertilizer production, it can be widely used as foliar fertilizer, flush fertilizer, drip irrigation fertilizer, water-soluble fertilizer, and raw material added to organic and compound fertilizers. It is suitable for foliar spraying, flushing, drip irrigation, and soilless cultivation.

Description

1. Introduction

EDDHA Fe is a high-efficiency chelated iron fertilizer, which combines iron with EDDHA chelating agent through chemical chelation technology, which is highly stable in soil, especially suitable for correcting plant iron deficiency yellowing in alkaline or calcareous soils. It is widely used in agriculture, horticulture and high value-added cash crops for iron supplementation

EDDHA Fe Fertilizer is a compound that stably encapsulates iron ions in organic matter by coordination. It usually appears as a reddish-brown to dark brown powder or granules, is readily soluble in water, and the iron element exists in a chelated form that has extremely high stability and bioavailability. The unique chemical structure makes EDDHA Fe stable in a wide pH range (such as pH 3-11) and has good resistance to photolysis and alkalinity. It is an efficient and stable iron source supplement.

2. Features

Strong stability
The chelated structure is stable in the pH range of pH 4-11, especially in alkaline soil (pH>7), which can still maintain the availability of iron, which is better than EDTA, DTPA and other common chelated iron.
High absorption efficiency
The biortho-hydroxyl structure (Ortho-Ortho type) promotes rapid root uptake and directly acts on chlorophyll synthesis.
Long-acting sustained release
Iron is released slowly, and the fertilizer effect lasts for 3-4 weeks, reducing the need for frequent application.
Versatility

It is effective for fruit trees (such as citrus and grapes), vegetables, flowers, field crops, and is especially suitable for iron-deficient sensitive crops.

High Iron Content
The iron content of our product is stable between 5.8-6.5%. Such high iron content is an essential element for plant growth, directly involved in the formation of chlorophyll, and is crucial for the overall development of the plant system.

Excellent Soil Adaptability
The EDDHA Fe Fertilizer remains stable under extremely high soil pH conditions, and its pH application range is wide, up to 7-9. This feature enables EDDHA Fe to perform well in various soil types, especially in alkaline soils.

Multiple forms, flexible application
EDDHA Fe products are available in the form of dark brown powder or tiny granules. They are also available in the form of yellow viscous opaque liquid or transparent liquid in different shapes in different pH solutions as needed.

Scientific formula, efficient absorption
The molecular formula of EDDHA Fe is C18H16N2O6FeNa, and the molecular weight is 435.2. Its unique chemical structure enables iron to form a stable chelate with EDDHA. This chelated structure improves the bioavailability of iron, allowing crops to absorb and utilize iron more efficiently.

3. Advantage  marketing Points for customer:
Alkaline soil savior: the only iron fertilizer that is still effective at pH >9, which solves the problem of easy fixation of iron in calcareous soil.
Rapid correction of yellowing: 3-5 days can see new leaves regreening, significantly better than ferrous sulfate and other traditional iron fertilizers.
Safe and low toxicity: It is not easy to react with phosphate and carbonate in the soil, and there is no risk of burn to the root system.

4.  Application guide:
Alkaline/calcareous soils with a soil pH ≥ 7.5, or crops with typical symptoms of iron deficiency (yellowing of new leaves).
Soil application: 100-200g/Ha EDDHA Fe  (calculated according to 6% iron content, the commercial dosage is about 100-200g), diluted with water 500-1000 times to irrigate roots or furrows.
Critical period: 1 time before germination, flowering, and young fruit stage, and 1 additional time can be applied at an interval of 10-15 days for severe yellowing.
Precautions
Avoid mixing with high calcium/magnesium fertilizer and strong acidic fertilizer, and need to wait 3-5 days.
It should be applied in the evening to reduce the decomposition of light; Protect from moisture and light when storing.
Crops that are sensitive to iron overdoses, such as rice, should be used in strict accordance with recommended doses

5. Package:

1kg, 25kg with word kraft paper or according to customer's requirements.

6 Application case:

Eddha Fe is quite useful and efficiency for orange cultivation

FAQ

Q: What is EDDHA Fe Fertilizer?

A: EDDHA Fe Fertilizer is a type of chelated iron fertilizer that uses EDDHA (ethylenediamine-di(o-hydroxyphenylacetic acid)) as a chelating agent. It provides a stable form of iron to plants, particularly in alkaline or calcareous soils where iron availability is limited.

Q: What are the benefits of EDDHA Fe Fertilizer?

A: It improves iron absorption in plants, preventing and correcting iron chlorosis (yellowing of leaves). It enhances overall plant health, growth, and vitality, especially in soils with high pH or low iron availability.

Q: How is EDDHA Fe Fertilizer applied?

A: EDDHA Fe Fertilizer is typically applied to the soil, mixed with water for irrigation, or as a foliar spray. Application rates depend on the soil conditions, plant requirements, and product instructions.

Q: Which plants benefit most from EDDHA Fe Fertilizer?

A: EDDHA Fe Fertilizer is particularly beneficial for acid-loving plants like citrus, strawberries, and vegetables, as well as for ornamental plants that show signs of iron deficiency in alkaline soils.

Q: Are there any risks or side effects of using EDDHA Fe Fertilizer?

A: When used according to instructions, EDDHA Fe Fertilizer is safe. Overuse, however, may lead to iron toxicity or soil imbalances, so it's important to follow recommended dosages and monitor plant health.
